Momoe i manu ae ala atea'e Tasker is a Samoan-Chinese/British multifaceted punk artist. Her work investigates feminism, abuse, decolonisation, cultural identity and the marginilisation of women of colour through hand block printing, paint and textiles.
As part of our current exhibition The Water Tasters Different Here, Momoe will be leading a hand block print making workshop. Spend the afternoon with Momoe and design, carve and print your own work. Prints made in the workshop will be hung alongside Momoe’s block print textile work in the exhibition.
This workshop is free, but spaces are limited. Reserve your place by emailing programmes@tautai.org
No previous experience needed, but participants are asked to bring in an image or idea of what you would like to create into a print.
