George Funaki

Meet George Funaki, a creative from Tāmaki Makaurau. Initially making waves in the fashion scene as an independent designer and freelance project manager. George took part in the 2023 Tautai Oceania Internship programme, and was hosted by Tāmaki Paenga Hira / Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Kasi Valu

Meet Kasi Valu, a Tongan creative born and raised in Tāmaki, Aotearoa and currently based in Pōneke. He is an actor, writer, poet and producer. Kasi took part in the 2023 Tautai Oceania Internship programme and was hosted by Tāwhiri / Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of The Arts.
