Creative Pearls | ‘Āpi’i Raranga Kete (Basket Weaving) - Teokotā’i Paitai

With the world as your oyster, we bring you Creative Pearls, our niu community-led workshop programme that gives Moana artists and knowledge-holders, the opportunity to deliver their own workshop concept with support from Tautai.

Kicking off the first of our series, is ‘Āpi’i Raranga Kete (Basket Weaving) led by Moana creative, Teokotā’i Paitai (Tā’i). “The practise of raranga kete can assist with well-being, as it encourages patience, humility and gratitude.” - Tā’i

This is a free 2-day workshop designed for you to learn how to make, complete and take home your very own kete. Spaces are limited and registration is essential.
